Help - can't remove virus

Hi,

I've just got a new PC and within a week of having it it's got a virus (or two) that I can't get rid of. I wondered if anybody would be able to advise what to do - below is the contents of a HijackThis log - I'd really appreciate some help.

Without going through the log, what makes you think you've got a virus?

Looks like you've got AVG, so a decent virus checker. Make sure it's up to date.

Hi - I'm getting a load of popups (adult sites etc) when opening normal websites - I've run AVG and Spybot and Adaware and they all keep finding the same things - among others Win32.BHO.df, Virtumonde and Virtumonde.rtk. I keep removing them and they keep coming back. All my definitions are up to date - hence the cry for help.

Iwould delete all the no name/no file entries with hjt.I would then run kaspersky on-line scanner. This doesn't clear them but it tells you what and where any dodgy things are. Take note of them and then delete/google so you know how to.

Try using CounterSpy V2. I have never used it but it says it will remove the spyware in question. Free 15 day trial.

you probably already have this as it is better than ie : Fire fox + noscript.
