New member , debt to sort

Options
Hello
Everyone seems so lovely here and supportive, hope you can help me too. To cut a long story short, we have been living beyond our means too long and its catching up. Debt is:

17k Barclaycard
14k Mbna
13k loan (for an extension we built)
20k loan was taken to clear Barclaycard and others 12 mths ago (ha ha card back to 17k)
500.00 Next

Plan is to clear Barclaycard first, Ive drawn up a 3 year plan. Cut up Mbna and not using at all.

I feel very stressed about it all, our loans and cards are about 1200.00 per month.Always running out of money. In desperation I almost took out a pay day loan last week and stopped myself. Just want to see the debt decreasing!

Any advice welcome :)

  • Hey! Are your credit cards on 0%? If not, the first thing I’d do is try & shift them onto 0% cards.

If you post a SOA then we can help identify where you need to cut costs.

    Good luck! :)
  • Thanks, no they are not, thought about that but no card will offer high enough limit so would mean loads of 0% cards?

    What's an SOA?

    Thanks x
