Just got an email from bulb offering a second generation smart meter.
My question is, would it be bad in any way due to my solar panels?
I am currently for example deemed for 50% as they cant measure export and i take advantage of this using a iboost to control my immerson heater.
My FITS is with EDF.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you provide regular readings to Bulb? If you do would aa smart meter help you save money?
Do you get a better rate by being on a smart meter?
Are you likely to move to another provider?
From SP point of view why do you need one? For me I will only get one when their is a benefit to me to have one.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
I’m with Bulb and trying to get a Smart Meter.
It comes with a Smart Tarif so off peak, peak and night time. I want it so I can then get a battery system at some point. That way if the solar doesn’t fully charge it then the night tarif will top it up at a cheap rate.6kWp system, 20 x 300W Longi Solar panels with a Solis 6.0 inverter + Wifi and iBoost
