BeMyEye question

I just signed up to BeMyEye after reading about it in a MSE blog and discovered there are no tasks in the whole of London. Is this normal? Any Londonders use this app? Kind of surprised!

I'm not in London but here in Lancashire it is a bit hit and miss too! Keep looking at the app and there should be some jobs eventually.0

Since posting a couple of things have come up but they've been grabbed by someone else very quickly.0

If you open one (without accepting), it will tell you what is involved.0 -
I used to quite enjoy doing these but it appears a few new users are in my area and they swoop in and pick everything up within a moment or two. It was good whilst it lasted.
I've noticed the fees are going down though, supply and demand and all of that.
To the OP, you have to check regularly to see if new things go on.0 -
I've completed a task and had it rejected, after I emailed and said it wasn't uploading properly... and the comment I got back was, "For future missions, read the instructions carefully before carrying out the mission. Pay more attention in the future. Thank you."
I've just written back saying that there was no need for such a condescending comment and it's really put me off doing anything else for them.
Anyone else had anything similar?0 -

Don't be so sensitive, their responses are rarely anything other than a copy and paste and even when they are genuine responses their customer service don't have English as their first language so they can read a little harsh.JammieDodger wrote: »it's really put me off doing anything else for them.
They honestly won't care a jot, there'll be someone waiting to take your place, you're not as important to them as you seem to think you are.
BME are my biggest earner this year for the second year in a row so I take the odd rejection (not had one in over a year) and technical issue as going with the territory. Suck it up and carry on if you want to keep earning or dump them if you don't.0
