Tax ni sub ??

My son in law had the wording
Tax ni sub on his wage slip but doesn't know what it means
Any ideas . I've never heard of it
So he had tax and ni taken off as usual and this was an extra anount taken off ?

He could always ask his payroll/HR department.

He asked and they didn't know ? Around £280 was taken
I will tell him he needs to insist they find out what it is

If they don't know then they need to ask someone who does. £280 seems to be quite a large sum to have gone into a black hole.
