Arcopal glassware

Options
I have acquired a large Arcopal oven dish, and as I have never used one before, I'm not sure whether it should be pre-heated in the oven and then the food put in it, or put it in "cold" as it were? Might it shatter if put in after the oven is heated?

I'm assuming it really is like Pyrex and is ovenproof? I've never thought of pre-heating Pyrex.

Be grateful for advice.

Comments

  • I've used it just like Pyrex. I probably wouldn't put a cold one fridge directly into the oven, but then I wouldn't do it with pyrex or corningware either.
