In relation to another thread I currently have on here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5979243/tax-issues-with-marriage-allowance
Could anyone please confirm if payments into a group personal pension which I believe is relief at source(Payments made from net income and Scottish Widows claim basic rate tax on my behalf) should reduce my taxable income as shown on my P60?
I think I may be wrong in thinking that it should as my P60s always show my gross income.

From your other thread your pension payments are from net pay so won't affect your P60 taxable pay figure.0

Thank you, so although I can claim tax relief to ensure that I don't pay any high rate tax in any given year. I am still technically a high rate tax payer so such benefits as marriage allowance wouldn't be entitled for me.0 -

As I understand it, as long as the pension payments you make ensure you have no HR liability then you would be able to receive marriage allowance0
