Possibly a silly question but wharever
2 seperate pensions, therefore can you withdraw 25% tax free from both,
And also pay into a SIPP to get the tax relief
Thanks

It is possible to take PCLS from pension scheme(s) and also to continue to contribute to another pension.
However, the "recycling of lump sums" rules should be borne in mind.

I’d never really thought about how I am now contributing to a Stakeholder Pension, so what is “significantly” defined as? I started taking two pensions, dropped down to a three day week and now contribute to the SP at work, I get more doing it this way than taking the pay and putting it other forms of savings, intention is to take it as a lump sum when I do retire. If I now look at how much I am putting in and the scheme is putting in it comes out about the same as one of the pension I get get monthly so how is this looked at? Been doing it for a couple of years so far.Paddle No 21 :wave:0
