Mortgage Fee application refund?

Just wondered if it's at all possible to get a refund on a declined mortgage application fee?

    Broker fee or lender fee?
    If broker fee, it will depend on what the fee agreement says...
    Lender fee, if it’s an application fee, then unlikely to be refunded. If it’s a product fee that you’ve paid upfront, this is usually refunded if the lender declines the application.
