Pension Redress Advice

Hi
I have a guarantee of a pension redress, which i have now been offered to have paid out as a cash lump sum, i am trying to find someone to review the numbers to see if they are credible before accepting payment but advised FSA cannot assist. Any ideas of where i can go to get such advice.
Thank you.

Its not really the sort of thing the food standards agency are good at. ;)

An actuary. Probably cost you a thousand or two.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

It's highly likely the number was calculated by an actuary/actuarial software in the first place as the calculations are too complicated to be undertaken manually by an adviser.

Suggest you get further info from your advisory firm on how the figures were arrived at before going to additional expense.
