What are Virgin Money like for mortgages? I’m nervous as just put in applications for a residential and buy to let mortgage.

Generally good, we use them a bit and the underwriters are good at communicating with us brokers.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. They are good if you fit criteria but anything out of the norm is can be a bit long winded with them.I am a Mortgage Adviser

My mortgage is with them as nobody else would lend me what I wanted based on my circumstances 2 years ago. They were fine.
Product switching at the end of a deal is a bit of a ball ache, it is an application (albeit without documents) but you/your broker can worry about that at the end of your deal.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. If their rates were more competitive i'd be happy to use them all the time. Generally fast service and do some quirky things that other high street lenders won't consider.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I think we are pretty standard as we are both employed (but non standard as we are doing a BTL and a residential mortgage) Do you know if the do the hard credit check at the DIP stage or full application? Just waiting for the phone call to arrange the valuation0

Hi Buttonmoon
We recently submitted a mortgage application with Virgin Money (residential, FTB) and it was a VERY straightforward process, we had 5 working days between submitting our application and receiving our offer.
Good luck - I hope it goes well!0
