    I agree with debtdoctor that the SoA is reasonable. However, I would be careful to explain any mitigating circumstances about your sons contributions. If we are talking 2 x over 18 year olds in full time education working a part time jobs or on apprenticeship pay then I think its fine. However, if you have 2 adult sons working full time paying £25 quid a week board then the OR may challenge this this - there might quite reasonably be an expectation that adults pay their own way and although the OR may not have the power or inclination to insist on higher contributions - they can reduce the allowance that covers their food etc thus leaving you open to an increased IPA. I suppose its about how actually 'dependant' the sons are on you.

    Thanks for the replys, I have a round trip of 30 miles a day starting at 5.45 Am each day and there are no buses available then, The electricity has actually reduced, we were paying £185 for the last 15 months but have just switched it to a lower rate,
    Both of my sons are in full time work the youngest is in a trainee position and studying for his AAT and we charge him £80 a month
    My other son Pays £120 and to be honest is hardly ever home he is either at work or with his girlfriend,
    We have maybe 3 meals a week together and they get there own lunches
