MYSTERY SOLVED Sold an unbranded wi-fi inverter stick instead of advertised Solis

Finally got some signal through to the barns by using a signal booster so spent £60 on a Solis data logging stick from ebay complete with warranty etc. There were other unbadged EN2 sticks for £40 on there but obviously no guarantees with them so went for the Solis brand.
It arrived this morning and it isn't a Solis stick. It is an unbadged standard EN2 stick in badly printed box with what looks like a used badly folded Solis manual inside with a sticker over the area where the serial number should be. It doesn't even look like the picture. It has a dirty great four inch aerial to screw onto the bottom. I'm not mistaken am I? This is NOT how Solis are producing them?
Very annoyed and deciding what to do
Do I a) return it for a refund stating fake advertising, etc., and go and find a real Solis stick or b) keep it but request a £20 refund to bring it into line with how much I could have spent if I had bought the other unbadged ones. Presumably there are no guarantees with this one bar what the seller is willing to give, which is probably not worth anything.

Quite straightforward to do an “item not as described” return with eBay if it doesn’t look like the one advertised so I would go with that. What is the seller’s feedback like?
FWIW I have what I imagine to be generic EN2 sticks (DLS Version: 1.4-US) which work fine.

That's the one I was looking at originally and decided to go with a supplier of Solis for the warranty etc.
He has 100% feedback. Other's have bought the sticks, left positive feedback and not mentioned it.
The manual says this version is DLS version 1.2 but the Solis manual obviously doesn't go with the unbranded stick.0 -
Had an email back from the seller to say this is a genuine Solis product, that it has no logo because Solis recently changed the design due to the extra aria used to help boost the signal. And that sometimes the outer packaging does come without any print.
Doesn't explain the old manual stuffed in there.0 -
Emailed another supplier about this and they said that there is no Solis Wifi stick with the Ginlong logo on it, or to be more precise, they had not seen one in the last five years except on pictures in a Solis catalogue.
So it looks like this is a Ginlong wifi stick.0 -
Mine was supplied with my inverter in a kit and also has no logo, same box as advert.
I assume its genuine, works perfect either way.4.6kWp PV Comprising 16 x Jinko Solar Maxim Optimised 290W panels SSE Facing, Solis Hybrid Inverter and 7.2 kWh Pylontech batteries. Gloucestershire.0 -

I find it very odd that it isn't badged in any way yet all the photos of it across every website show it clearly badged. They must have been at some point I guess but no longer.
Well, it looks like it is genuine so I'll accept it but the manual is for older v1.2 technology. I'll have to download the v1.4 version.0
