Charged Interest by an unlicensed compay

Hi.

I have recently discovered that I have been paying interest on a Golf Club subscription and the owner wasn’t licensed to charge interest. Can this be claimed back.

Is the Golf Club lending you money?

Or are they just offering you the option to pay them in instalments during the year?
