Yes please. We may need to buy another vac soon and want to know if something is better than the GTECH's we already have.

    No problem! :)

So filtering the cordless category by brand, Which? have tested five GTech models. Four of these score poorly, 47% - 56% overall, but the AirRam MKII scores 65%. For reference 70% is usually needed to achieve Best Buy status (BB).

As I said in my last post, most of the BBs in the cordless vacuum category are Dyson and Bosch. Sorting by price, the BB models listed at <£250 are

    - Bosch Athlet BCH625KTGB/01 (72% overall score)

    - Dyson V7 Motorhead (75%)

    - Bosch Athlet BCH6PETGB (73%)

    - Vax Blade 2 Max VBT3ASV1 (77%)

    - Hoover Synthesis Activ STC18LI (74%)

    - Dyson V7 Animal (75%).

Some of these score noticably better or noticeably worse in specific categories, eg. hard floors, large debris, pet hair removal, allergen retention. If you let me know I can post the summary review of any of these.

    HTH as a starting point!

  • Thank you for this information.
I'm interested in a cordless Shark. Any information on that?

Which? have six Shark models listed in the cordless vacuum cleaner category. Four scored 55% overall, two scored 63% overall (DuoClean Powered Lift Away TruePet IC160UKT & DuoClean Powered Lift Away IC160UK). Looks like they are virtually the same vacuum cleaner.

    HTH!

  • I have had 2 Dysons, and also have a hand held dyson. I am still very impressed with my corded Dyson although it can be a bit heavy to use. It never fails to impress me with the amount of dust it manages to suck up. I would really like a lighter one but have a feeling that the suction will not be as good.
  • I don't care, they both suck!
