Defective computer part they won't refund

    I have bent a fair few pins with heavy handed install .


    Point one has this self build got a motherboard ??
    If so and cpu was attempted to fit that is where the pins got bent .

    Did Aria confirm it was brand new? Or was this a previous customer return that they've sold on as new? (And which they didn't check prior to reselling to you/your son). That's about your only chance of convincing them you received it like that.

    Legally it is for them to prove that you caused the damage (a statement without seeing the goods is not proof) ... but they have your money so you'd need to take action (Paypal, court) to force a refund.
