Car finance ccj help and advice
Hi All,
Currently on a ccj wage arrestment from my car finance still have around 13k remaining after being unfit to work shortly after a large finance deal, also couldn't repay the standard amount when I did return to work but by that point was put on a ccj repayment anyway.
First thing I need some advice with is I am going to be moving jobs next month and ideally would like to try to set up a standing order or similar.
I'm worried it will affect my new job transferring the wage arrestment to new company.
Secondly, the ccj will be off my account around 2021 although the rate I'm repaying it will be around 4/5 years by the time its paid off.
What would happen after the default is removed from credit file does it still continue and what are the chances they will renew the ccj notice on my credit file?
Thanks for any help/advice in advance

The default and CCJ. can't be 'renewed'.
But the debt remains enforceable.0 -
Ah right ideal. I read something slightly similar on a post and a response was they can wait till near end and reaplly for another ccj in place
I don't mind paying it off obviously just the though of another 6 years on file isn't ideal if it were to happen
Just need to figure out the best way to switch over the arrestment to new employer. Ideally if I could keep it off their books would be the best situation.0
