I pay into the Pru AVC but comes out of my salary- there is a Nhs stakeholder also0 -
Thanks, I've looked at this website but I can't work out if I can pay lump sums into both schemes or what the pros and cons of either scheme is?0
-
Actually I think AVC's have to be paid into from your salary, so stakeholder will be the only option for now0

The SIPP provider widely known for having the best service is Hargreaves Lansdown. Phone them on Monday morning and an educated person based in Bristol will help you. They are not the cheapest but competitive for SIPPs under £100k and have great computer access whether through a laptop, iPad, iPhone or Android. They are not popular on this forum because they are not the cheapest which matters for your main pension but in the scenario you have described, good service and being able to talk to a human is important.0
