You're in a place where drugs are dispensed, they have to ultra careful so they asked you a question.
You're reading to much into this and just need to carry on with workDon't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
Your employer has a duty of care for you at work and obviously had concerns.
And maybe suspicion of a painkillers addiction , which would be a real concern in a dispensing chemists would it not ?Ex forum ambassador

Doctors aren't infallible and the dispensing pharmacist will have a duty to highlight potential errors/ problems with prescriptions. I know my MILs pharmacist has picked up where dosages have been too high and also where there have been contra-indications with her existing prescriptions. Excessive use of pain relief can cause health problems in addition to addiction - look up what can happen if you exceed the recommended dosage of paracetamol based products.0

Yes, I understand it from their perspective but feel that I'm under suspicion and am being watched closely and it is not a nice feeling when you have not done anything wrong.
You’ve done nothing wrong, but you have perhaps been a bit daft. Taking a controlled painkiller in front of pharmacists - one that’s often abused and often stolen by people who work in hospitals and pharmacies - was obviously going to lead to some intrusive questioning. You put them in a situation where they had no choice but to ask. But it’s done now. They asked some questions and you answered them. It’s over. You probably will be watched carefully for a bit, but again, you’ve put them in a situation where they’ve no choice.0 -
I'm confused , in another recent post you now work in the opticians , not the pharmacy any more ?

It’s also not uncommon for addiction issues to arise even though the drugs are being prescribed for genuine pain relief in the first instance. The management of chronic pain is different to acute pain management for this reason.
If you’ve been over-using your prescribed pain relief and self medicating on top with co-codamol, you do sound as though you are at high risk of being in this situation - and you will be the last not the first person to notice that this has happened. Rather than trying to hide the situation by having your meds dispensed elsewhere, I’d encourage you to discuss with your GP the concerns your employer has raised and to be open with your GP about what, how much and why you are taking the medications you do, and follow advice from then on.
Nobody sets out to be Ant McPartlin or Michael Jackson when they accept prescribed medication for a genuine ailment, but be grateful if someone spots if that’s the road you are travelling before you reach the place they both arrived at...0 -

I feel that it isn't over and still under suspicion, just little things but maybe I'm being paranoid.
For instance, on lunch on Monday I went to the petrol station near to where I work to get cash out for my weekly bus pass and get some chocolate. I was asked where I had been. what I was doing by the pharmacist and when I explained I needed cash she demanded to know why.
Also, everytime I've been on lunch, the manager has sat next to me on the table to do paperwork.
If I had been asked what I was doing in my own time, and what I was spending my money on, I would have been inclined to tell them to mind their own business.0
