Hi chums ,not a nice day today wet and a bit windy as well.Started off badly with the dreadful news from NZ, I feel for those poor folk and their families .
H/Harvey fingers crossed all will go to plan with the r/therapy for you. The machines at Maidstone Hospital kept breaking down when I had it in 2008 Three machines going for 12-15 hours a day it's hardly surprising .Then one day we had all to wait until the chap fixed it as apparently back then you had to have the daily r/therapy for 6 weeks without a break and if you missed one for what ever reason you had to start the course all over again so there were about 15 people ,like me waiting it outthe nurses were really nice though and made sure we all had tea and sandwiches to keep us going .In the large waiting room there was a long table with a 2.500. piece jigsaw and everyone who was having treatment would do a bit while we waited and it was great to see it slowly building up over the weeks
I have everything crossed for you and I'm sure all will go to plan.
History was really good today we did boating accidents on the river Thames. The Princess Alice in 1878 and the Marchioness in 1989. Both caused by human error sadly.
My youngest DGS Mikey did hs mock GCSE this morning in English (his school do the english ones for some pupils a year early, he isn't 15 until June ) and he said it was OK and he thought he did alright. His actuals are in May.
I hope the weather brightens up a bit as the wind is really chilly today. I have some baking to do tomorrow and I may do my first shop of the month tonight as I have been eating from the freezer and mainly only need fresh fruit and veg and a few other odds and ends. Only three weeks until our spring break on the Isle of Wight so hopefully it will be a bit warmer then.
Hope you all have a good weekend
Cheers chums JackieO xx0 -
