I was recently looking into making some extra money alongside my current career. Put my details about on a few job sites blah blah blah hence a company called 60 minute money rang me, and haven't stopped since sending me their cd-rom, phoning me, emails etc
Has anyone heard anything good about them? I did my own research and have to say it didn't ring very well when typed in google. A lot of bad press, but its all about 3 yrs old. Anyone heard of any good experiences with them recently?

60 minute money is Herbalife....and is a MLM scheme
You need to sell and introduce new associates to make lots of money. Like anything of his nature, you need a steady stream of customers every month, so once you have been through all your friends and relatives, you need new customers.0 -
so generally a waste of time and money then. thanks for your advice pennylane, cool name by the way0

In connection with pennylane's response, it is a scam. I fell for it and paid out over £150 for the business pack and a starter pack for me to lose weight with, so I could tell my customers that it really works.
I live on an army base overseas never got access to the warehouse online to purchase anything for myself. I was eventually told that they don;t deal with people who live at BFPO addresses as we are not classed as British! What a flamin cheek!
I have asked for my initial outlay to be refunded but this has never happened. I'm now just putting it down to me being gullible and fooled by their claims of large income for minimal layout.
One thing they don't tell you is that they expect you, on sign up, to pay for a training website, training calls, a messenger application, and pay for your own website. The two websites are paid for on a monthly basis. It would seem that you will only make money if you can scam lots of people to join up under you - only then will you actually make any money.LBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:
Current debt levels: OD £3860, Loan 1 £6091, Loan 2 £5052, Parents £260, Total £16133  As at 01 May 2012 - 51.69% paid off :j

I tried these guys late 2005, and didnt make a penny, although i didnt invest in anything except the starter pack.
Also they wouldnt let me do my own website, so really they are trying to drain you dry.
The product does work, but this is mostly because of the litre of water a day is the beneficial part, i was told this by a sales exec for an IT sales/ousourcing company who had also gone down this route at one point.
Im glad i didnt invest too much on this, went for the weekend trip, was quite fun.
I think to be honest though these adverts they put on jobsites should be outlawed as they are very mis representative of how these things actually work.
Good luck with earning money other ways, try setting up a website and getting affiliate links, there are people making some money out of this, either that or invest your time and money into training for yourself, as thats the best investment going.0 -
Dont touch 60mm with a bargepole.I joined last year, forked out £170 for the business pack and another £80 or so to 60mm for access to their training websites.I was then expected to go to a weekend seminar(costing me 2 nights bed and breakfast plus the cost of getting to Stanstead Airport from the North East). Then to get the business off the ground I would have had to get flyers etc printed to push through peoples doors and hand out at car parks, and also pay for advertising in the local press to drum up more business. Then I would have to decide what level I wanted to join the business. To get the most discount on the products I would have needed to buy around £1500 worth of stock and then make sure I sold it all or I would have been out of pocket big style! It was at this point I decided to cut my losses and run.I got the £170 back from my mentor on my resignation from Herbalife the company, and return of the business pack(basically milkshakes, protein bars, tapemeasure and shaker).I thought everything was cancelled but then the following month received an email from 60mm needing payment for their websites. It seems I also needed to cancel with them as well as Herbalife (a fact I was not told), so I had to send them another £30 for websites I had never used!It seems 60mm has a very good business going, one which only they profit from!0
