Cooked chicken, frozen?

As yet another stride towards a healthy, nutritious, and cheaper lunch(box) I've been thinking of making my own honey & chicken pasta pots (rather than buy them ready made from Mr T's). The problem is the chicken - if I don't store it somehow, I'll eat the whole chicken after it's cooked!

If I cut it into strips after cooking and then freeze it, will the texture or flavour be affected much? If it's palatable enough a whole chicken (give or take the bits I nibble :A) will last me for loads of pasta lunches.
