6Kw System fitted just in Time

yep it now says "Water heating off". I think i hit the button on top of sender unit so that might of made it display it was operating. I have connected it to the live (red). Is it directional i.e. the clamp has to go on the wire the correct way round?

I actually connected clamp wrong way round, thats why it was showing heating as it was detecting the flow into the house. Will wait until tomorrow and see if it works.

Yes as it needs to detect that power is being exported rather than imported before it operates. It is positioned on the cable between the meter and the consumer unit and has arrows on it indicating which way faces the meter and the consumer unit.

All sorted thanks. Moving the clamp to the correct place made the unit say tank Hot but it wasn't. So suspected the element or thermostat was broken. Turns out someone had disconnect the element from the other side of the thermostat. Even now when only producing 366w its stil diverting to hot water. Happy days.

If you press button A it will tell you how much has gone in today.
Do you have the remote iboost buddy?.

It is now showing savings so its working. It was even working when only producing 210w and turning the TV on and off would turn Iboost off and on.. happy its sorted now. Gas hot water is off so i will see if tank is hot when i get home tomorrow.
