Lender ask more documents after sending my offer letter

Hi Everyone,
Four days ago we received our mortgage offer and we wanted to change our solicitor. I asked my broker to contact them and amend the offer letter with new conveyancer, but they requested for more information again and they wanted to start from scratch. As I am selfemployed they asked me to provide 6 months of my company bank statements.
I have not seen anywhere that lender asks for business bank statements for 6 months, I already send them SA302, two years P/L account, TOY and my personal bank statements.
Could anyone give me advice, At this stage I feel very annoyed that lender couldve asked me before submiting documents.
Thanks

A lender can request new documents any time up until completion except for in the first 7 days of your offer being issued (unless your circumstances change).
It is rare that it happens, but you have asked to change something on your application. You could be wanting to change solicitors because you are trying to launder money and the processes of solicitor one would have meant they found out.
You need to speak to your broker to see if they can do anything. But if not, you either need to provide the documents or find a new lender.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thank you for the reply. The reason I changed my solicitor was that fee was much less than the state Agent’s nominated the one at early stage. Even I asked my broker if we can go a head with same solicitor and pay original fee but she said is too late as we need to send requested documents which leneder asked for.
I sent six months bank statements for my company which are totally clear.
Let see what they says0
