Council tax band formal reassessment

The voa website states that a formal contest of your band is a public record and available for anyone to see. Anyone know exavtly wjat this entails? Will this be visible on request or on a website somewhere? And will be full contact info be visible etc? Any help appreciated!

I would doubt there would be much (if any) information of a personal nature.
If an appeal went to a Valuation Tribunal hearing, then the decision is published on the Valuation Tribunal Service website and gives full details of the hearing, evidence submitted, house prices, name of taxpayer bringing the appeal etcIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
