A few bids on eBay items which excites me rather more than I care to admit.
Lovely to see spring on its way in, enjoyed having my washing drying outside over the weekend and being able to take our dogs out for walks- a sign of a nice summer of lots of walks and hopefully not a lot of spending!

Another NSD today, using bits up out of the freezer. Payday on Friday and in anticipation I have joined the April Grocery challenge.

Forgot this in my earlier update, £24 refund from some returned items hit my bank today. Transferred that and a few £££’s of Tilly Tidy’s that I’ve done through the month across to savings account, so now that is the £75 cake money ‘paid back’.

Found a tenner in my purse today :T
Not spent it yet - might treat myself to lunch at work tomorrow as I don’t have any leftovers left from tonight’s tea.

Been doing some investigations into my mortgage, the main part of the mortgage comes to the end of the fixed rate in July. 2 other sub accounts are on fixed term till 2023, however investigating the early repayment charges today...I think it will be cheaper to switch and pay the ERC’s.
Will continue to look into it over the coming months, then the decision will be how long to fix for. I have been eyeing up some 5yead fixed terms which I am drawn to. With the potential of a second child at some point in the next few years, I would rather be in predictable monthly cost situations
Most of the providers I looked at only allowed up to 10% overpayments per year. I don’t forsea that being too much of a problem, but it would be nice to not have a limit on OP’s. Will keep reviewing the market.

    Payday has arrived :T:T
All the money shuffles are done, managed to get savings to nearly £1k and another 640£ op’d.
A number of eBay items due to end tomorrow, current bids are totalling around £60 so will be pleased with that. I think the money that I make will go towards clothes for holiday for me and toddler.

Had a few things to book for holiday (car hire and car parking), have done that through TopCashback so a few £££’s tracked there.

A lovey day of jobs round the house, tweaking with spreadsheet and a lovely dog and toddler walk in the sun.
I’ve joined the grocery challange for April to try and keep me in-line!

Ebay items ended around £130, have listed some more items.

I totalled up all our holiday related costs and it comes to around £600 , so the Ebay money and any other money I can squirrel away will go towards this find for the next few weeks up until holiday. My aim is to make as much of this money from eBay sales etc so I don’t have to use much of next months surplus (which is earmarked for savings and op’ing)
Personal spends has taken a bit of hit the last few data, lunch out, meal out and unexpected parking charges. It’s recoverable but just means I need to tighten my belt a bit next week.
Not much else to report! Wish I could speed up Ebay sales, it drives me mad waiting a week but I find I get better success from selling on there than any other platform.
