                    Hello there.
I am a 31 year old woman living in London, and have been since 2009. I have been working most of that time in London and have gone out of the twice for longer travels, last time was is 2014 when I was aaway for 4 months.
Now I have been working consistently when I have been in the country and I am now in a relationship with a british citizen and we just had a child 4 months ago.
We are living in his parents living room and have been since a year ago when I first found out I was expecting. He is in full time work, I am not as I’m caring for the baby and we can not afford to move anywhere renting privately and now to my question.
I have done a habitual residency test TWICE and failed. With about 50 printed documents to prove I have paid in tax and NI for nearly a decade they aren’t going to help me. I am not receiving a penny and am living on nothing but my partners salary which is basic.
As I have a british partner and child, is there any help I can get? we need to get our own place, it’s so child unfriendly here she can’t even learn how to crawl here.
Where can I go for any help with this? If we cannot afford to move, where do we end up going? I can’t get any help financially and I’m going crazy.

Do you and your partner receive child related benefits?0
 -
What benefits were you trying to claim when you failed the HRT?
Most income related benefits you will be knocked out of because of your partners earnings rather than HRT. Have you claimed Universal Credit? Child Benefit?0 -
            Hi,
We are not receiving any benefits as such, apart from child benefit.
I was trying to claim universal Credit when I got told I wasn’t eligible. They said my status is the one of “job seeker” rather than settled hence why I’m not entitled to any financial support during my time off to care for child and also no housing support.0 -
I infer from you name that you may be Spanish but it would be helpful if you told us your nationality, or at least whether you are an EEA citizen or from another part of the world.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

            Sorry, cross posted.
Would also help if you could tell us when you last worked. Did you go on maternity leave? Are you receiving any maternity pay?0 -

And did you go back to your country for an extended period of time?Unlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.

I am 33 weeks pregnant and a Norwegian citizen but lived in London and worked since 2009.
I have been denied Universal Credit cause apparently they don't accept me as a qualified person0 -
