They will increase on April 1st but the government haven't told dentists yet what it is . We normally find out from the papers !
    Rumours are 5% England
    Inflation in Wales
    Unknown Scotland and Wales.

It is important to know that dentists do not get this increase it just means the government pays less towards cost of dental treatment. NHS dentists in England and Wales still haven't got their 1% increase from last year.

Just seen English increase is 5%

This means that the dental charge payable for a band 1 course of treatment will rise by £1.00 in 2018-19, from £20.60 to £21.60. The dental charge for a band 2 course of treatment will increase by £2.80 in 2018-19, from £56.30 to £59.10. The charge for a band 3 course of treatment will increase by £12.20 in 2018-19, from £244.30 to £256.50.

Thanks. And the prices you quoted were from last April to March this year. Do you have anything for this April to March 2020? And you're quite sure there will be an increase this year (2019)?

There will definitely be an increase in England and Wales, rumoured to be 5% in England and inflation in Wales.
Scotland and NI not sure haven't heard anything.

The problem is dental practices are normally informed after April 1st , newspapers normally have the information first.

    Confirmed English increase 5% , Wales 2.1%

To reiterate the dentists do not receive that increase , it just means the government spends less.
