Anyone know how the prize deck competitions work?
You enter on the website but then they put the all over twitter and you can rt to enter. Most winners seem to be from twitter so what's the point of the website?

I entered via the web site last year and won chocolates in Feb from Hotel Chocolate, prize deck messaged me on twitter to tell me I had won.0 -
I entered on the web site, They sent me an Email when i won. I don't do TwitterClose your eyes and tap your heels together three times and think to yourself There's No Place Like Home.0

I entered through the website and won last month. They emailed me and asked for my twitter handle so that they could announce it on their twitter account.0

I've won twice on the website within a year. I think both were thanked and announced on social media. Many thanks to everyone who posts competitions and works so hard to provide all the answers!
Best wins this year so far: £100 Hobbycraft Voucher, £50 cash, GoPro Camera0 -
Ahh so the RT and follow competitions from them are pointless and winners come from the website. Interesting...0

No I wouldn't say they're pointless. I think you can enter on twitter or the website. On twitter it says "follow and RT to enter or sign up at https://www.prizedeck.com to enter this and lots more".
(edited to add that this is in the website t&c too so you could have a read on there for clarification). Many thanks to everyone who posts competitions and works so hard to provide all the answers!

So how do they collate those entries, most of which will be double entries, and fairly pick a winner?
This doesn't bode well with me. Seems the twitter part is just free publicity.0 -
Many companies offer varied entry routes over websites, facebook, twitter, instagram etc. I think we just have to trust that they are fairly run or ask them if you're not sure. Many thanks to everyone who posts competitions and works so hard to provide all the answers!
