Just back on the site after a couple of years away. I'm sure before that when a poster was thanked, it stayed ticked, so that if the post is re-viewed it is easy to tell that the comp has already been entered.

This doesn't seem to be the case any more. Is there an easy way to know if I have already thanked the poster in an entry?

Apologies if this is covered in FAQs, but I couldn't find it.

I vaguely remember about 6-7 years ago that the thanks and the tick buttons used to be combined, is that what you are thinking of? If so, this is no longer the case, and you need to check both buttons. Select the green tick to show yourself that you have entered a comp, the red cross if you want to skip it and remind yourself not to come back to it, and click "thanks" on any post (not just a comp) to add to the users thanks number.

I had the same issue. Press the green tick for a few seconds until a white box appears. Tick should stay green
