If you go to the bbc website and look at their fat nation webpages you can order a fact pack which includes a free pedometer (amongst other stuff), the pack costs £3.99, cheapest pedometer i found on ebay was over £10.  I ordered one of these three weeks back and still waiting!!! (although it does state 28 days for delivery)
