Hi,
Looking for some advice I received a letter before claim back in July last year but didn't receive this due to moving home.
I got a ticket from the parking management company managing the car park for my block of flats that I am a Tennant in. My parking permit was not in view so I got a PCN.
It's essentially been going back and forth since November but they take months to respond each time. Still receiving the same line:-
The original charge is £100, the further £60 is a nominal contribution to our Client's damages in that they have had to facilitate recovery of the debt.
In the absence of payment within 30 days we are instructed to issue legal proceedings without further notice.
I've asked for more details on the clients damages but have not received a sufficient response. Any advice on future steps?
I've also received another PCN for the same space but is now a non parking space apparently. There are no signs to tell you this. Issued at 4am in the morning. I'm confident this one will be dropped.
