  • @ACG afaik the solicitor I arrange myself. There is a “solicitor disbursement” fee of £300 but I don’t think the MA fees include the work the solicitor does.

Mortgage valuation fee was include in the price.

It’s intresting I’ve now read that they charge between 0.3-1% of the property value in fee. Cool she charged me 1% lol.

    Bye Feliciaz
  • Is it also normal that she’s interested in getting me to do an Experian online credit check? It’s just the contributors of this forum always seem to mention that they the rubbish.

No. The credit SCORE is rubbish. The report gives us the data we need.

Same for Equifax and Call Credit, or whatever it's called now.

  • @miss undastood I don’t know why you stated your reasons for not using an advisor.... I wasn’t asking to use one or not.
  • @kingstreet what’s the difference? I can’t find myself on Noodle/Experian as I was living overseas and of the electrical roll until 1.5 years ago.

I have no bad credit but also no good credit.

Typically, the data on each version is different.

Credit providers and lenders feed information to, and take information from, different CRAs. Sometimes one, sometimes two but not usually all three.

I might want a particular version of your credit history if I was planning to place your application with a particular lender.

  • So it is important to have one? Just the score doesn’t mean anything

I'd ask for all three and yes, the "score" is irrelevant.
