Previous employer didn't register me as an employee to HMRC?

Ok I've just dug up my first contract which says I was being paid £7.50 an hour. I just went through my bank statement and divided it properly by the hours I worked and it equals exactly £7 an hour. Verbally I was told it was £7 an hour I was being paid, so I'm honestly surprised to see £7.50 written down. So deductions were made if I was being paid £7.50 per hour. But no rebate, no payslips, no P45 or P60 and no evidence of employment after Aug 17 on government gateway. Does this mean anything? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just so confused honestly
Minimum wage being £7.70 for my age bracket (I was aged 21-23 when I worked there) if I was paid £7 per hour into my account would that account for deductions?0
