Glasgow - anybody know when the new Sunday parking charges kick in?

Options
I know that free Sunday parking in Glasgow city centre is being scrapped, but does anybody know when this will happen (or has it happened already)?

It's only a consultation at this stage. It might not even happen - certainly no date yet.

I stay in Glasgow, not heard about this. Looks like a money making spin by the council. Remember our Public transport runs on a limited service on Sunday.

Perhaps if they gave 2 hours free parking that would help.

Also, when the public don't shop in the city center because of this charge. 3 large out of city shopping centers will benefit.

The new charge started today, remember it takes in all streets in the city centre.

My wife's family live in Castlemilk and our nephew is a bus driver who does the 75 route, so I know someone that will be happy.

Does anyone know how far out constitutes city centre, or is there a map of where the charges have been brought in?

There's an interactive parking map, on the GCC website that shows the various zones and restrictions.
