It won't do any harm to send a copy of the ticket, but by the same token it won't sway the PPC to cancel.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Thanks, Umkomaas. Wow. A bonafide ticket which gives them no leg to stand on (unless they are deciding to ignore their code of conduct around a 10 minute grace) won't dissuade them.

So I guess this is just going to go to court? In which case I have a ticket and credit card receipt.

Do your recommend the resolver service?

The CC receipt will need to be used carefully so as not to imply the identity of the driver. ;)
If there is a ticket then there really shouldn't be any need to use the CC bill as well.

I have no experience of Resolver, but I doubt they have anywhere near the parking knowledge of the regulars here, some of whom are legally qualified.

Including a copy of the ticket won't do any harm, but don't expect it to sway the scammers into cancelling.

  • Thanks, Fruitcase. i won't send a copy of the cc - even though it has no name on it, I was referring to the receipt that came out of the machine.

Yes, my reading around doesn't suggest resolver is an expert on this, it seems there plus points is that they submit for you, keep a record of everything submitted and remind you when the next thing has to be etc. They are just a platform for administration of complaints.
