Premier Parking Solutions appeal won't submit

Hi,
Tried to appeal a premier parking solutions invoice, but their site doesn't recognise the reg or charge reference no matter how many times i try. Is this something that others have come across?
In which case is it good to submit through resolver. I see they are associated with money saving expert, but what is the forum experts view on them?
Thanks.

Probably a characteristic FUBAR, you are not dealing with John Lewis here.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors. Is has been suggested by an MP that some of these companies may have connections to organised crime.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, (especially Smart}, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week), hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem become so widespread that MPs agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Hopefully, this will become law by Easter .You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Could you not send the appeal through to an email (bcc yourself on to it, so you know it has actually gone), with a line to explain that their appeal page isn't working? It may be worth sending a screenshot. Basically, anything to make you look as reasonable as possible, and them to look as unreasonable. PPS are litigious, so start laying the groundwork early!Natwest OD - Start: £1,500 Current: £1,500 | Creation Loan - Start: £2,152.33 Current: £2,082.90 | Barclaycard CC - Start: £5,242.42 Current: £5,416.45 | Novuna Loan - Start: £8,598.43 Current: £8,366.04 | Tesco CC - Start: £9,420.22 Current: £9,885 | Northridge Car - Start: £15,584 Current: £15,017

OK. Thanks. It would also be good to get opinions on the best approach. I would guess the computer systems were down in the car park as I have a valid ticket with the registration on it correctly and even a credit card receipt. Their charge claimed no trace of payment.
The only issue is that the driver was around 6 minutes late leaving the car park.
Should I:
a) Just send the blue template now without mentioning the receipt – As their computer systems were down it is unlikely they can provide any evidence from the machine.
b) Send them a copy of the ticket – My only concern around that is that they may turn around and still try to charge me based on the six minutes. I know that there is a 10 minute grace period but they may still be difficult. However, I guess they are also a member of BPA which means that if they use the six minutes to try and charge me I can complain to the BPA who came up with the 10 min grace period.

Have you derived your forum username from your real name?
If so, you would be wise to get your forum username changed to something very much more anonymous.
To help with that, you might like to read this short extract from The MSE Forum Guide - Frequently Asked Questions & Rules:Q. How can I change my username?
A. In most circumstances, this is not permitted.
The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk. This usually means you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something that gives away your identity within your username.
If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and request that it is changed, giving three alternative usernames in order of preference.0 -

You guess incorrectly. For Keith P, no my forum name is nothing like my real one. Thanks.
To ShakeItOff - Their signage, i have a photo, says both BPA and IPC and a search of the BPA website shows them as a member. However, their appeals is IAS. How does that affect the 10 min grace period and all other things?0 -
They may well be BPA members, but not on the AOS register, which is the important one. It is worth noting that, as you don't want to be lulled into appealing to IAS - there is no point. You will not get a POPLA code from PPS when your appeal inevitably fails (through no fault of your own - "computer says no" appears to be a default setting!).Natwest OD - Start: £1,500 Current: £1,500 | Creation Loan - Start: £2,152.33 Current: £2,082.90 | Barclaycard CC - Start: £5,242.42 Current: £5,416.45 | Novuna Loan - Start: £8,598.43 Current: £8,366.04 | Tesco CC - Start: £9,420.22 Current: £9,885 | Northridge Car - Start: £15,584 Current: £15,017

Premier Parking Solutions are members of the IPC Approved Operator Scheme.
They are not members of the BPA Approved Operator Scheme.0 -
OK.
So:
1. The recommended blue template is not relevant to IPC members? I didn't see another template, is there one?
2. in my appeal to premier parking - not IAS - should I send them my ticket or not at this stage?
3. Is it that IPC doesn't follow the 10 minute grace period?
Thanks.0 -
Sorry - missed the question about grace periods. Yes, the IPC does (code of practice: https://theipc.info/downloads), and indicates a 10 min grace period. The wording is different to the BPA one though, so worth comparing if you've been reading the BPA COP instead.Natwest OD - Start: £1,500 Current: £1,500 | Creation Loan - Start: £2,152.33 Current: £2,082.90 | Barclaycard CC - Start: £5,242.42 Current: £5,416.45 | Novuna Loan - Start: £8,598.43 Current: £8,366.04 | Tesco CC - Start: £9,420.22 Current: £9,885 | Northridge Car - Start: £15,584 Current: £15,017
