Parking Eye 'Win'

So after 5 months of politely disagreeing with Parking Eye (PE) over a Parking Charge issued at Portishead Marina in Autumn 2018 I finally received confirmation from them that the charge has been cancelled. So just a little post to say you can 'win'!!
Background - PE sent a charge after an 'overstay' in the car park despite paying the required fee. Their evidence showed 2 photographs, both really poor quality with no time stamp or camera details at all and only showing the front number plate of the vehicle with little else - there was no way of proving the location of the car nor the time and date taken. So a polite online form was submitted, reply from PE was the usual followed up with more information from me and a request for further info/evidence from them. They continued to push for the payment, I replied asking for the information I had requested and nothing came back. I then received a letter before court also stating my appeal had failed, having never received an option to appeal nor a POPLA number I replied to them - again a reply saying we are dealing with your request, then a month later I have received the cancellation.
They have been clueless throughout the process, my main point is that a copy of the online forms I first filled in were requested to support my evidence and for my records - PE could not supply these and never responded to my requests for any of the online forms I had completed. Not sure if this is becuase they 'lost' the information or because they can't access the information - all seems strange that they couldn't or wouldn't supply this information to me.
They did inform me that some information was emailed to me including the appeal process and POPLA number, having never received the info I replied that postal correspondance was the only acceptable communication process. At every request for information from them i recieved nothing apart from yet another request for payment!
