Declared Bankrupt Today!

My hearing was at 9.30 am today. I was out and finished by 11.45 am.

I was surprised at how painless it was. The Court staff were great, the Judge was a bit frosty (but aren't they always!) and the Official Receiver even gave me his best wishes for my "new life".

A great weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

One thing is sure: I will NEVER get myself into this position again!

  • Well done Julian.
I haven't heard of anyone who's said the process was apinful, and the court staff seem to be consistantly lovely.
Heres to a better, stress free life.
Did you have your OR full interview today or is that to come?
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

  • I saw the Banruptcy Clerk, then the (frosty) Judge, then I was put in a small room where the OR 'phoned me and talked to me for about 1/2 hour.

Apparently I have one more 'phone interview to come in the next few days.
