Thanks all.
When i started the IVA, i knew BR would be a good option, but i wanted to try and pay the debts back.
Im self employed, but its sort of a sub-contracting thing for a franchise so its not my business to lose. They give me work, and i go and do it.
I spoke to the middle men in my IVA and they said that id normally have to pay for it myself, and the monies paid into the IVA already will be used paying the IP fees and any left onto my debt.
They said to ring my IP and discuss if they can help, so ill ring and ask how to start proceedings. Ill save my money for BR fee's now as a priorty.
The end of the line of the IVA was the other day...I very happily reclaimed £185 from CapitalOne,which left me owing them only about £30. I ASSUMED that as this has obviously lowered my debt, id have a reduce payment or something. But, they just said that Capital One will get a less % of the payment, and nothing else changes. I was fuming that this hasnt affected me in the slightest!!!
With BR, i think i can get a life again.0 -
Also, i was thinking as im in an IVA, surely the OR will use that information instead of me filling all the SOA forms etc again, right?
I have had nothing to do with my creditors for over a year and a half.0
