So transferred another 2.00 to next from qmee and 5.00 to very been quite lucky on qmee so far done a few 51p surveys boring as hell but made 2.00 in the last two days. Waiting on 2.50 still from checkout smart transferring to paypal as soon as that does it goes straight to next. although these are small payments if I can keep at it I will hopefully see its all worthwhile. So I opened a Monzo last night waiting on my card will see if this works out better rather than the envelope system. I'm going to transfer my budget from my current account on payday cause it will allow me to pay pump for petrol and heard good reviews about it so will trial it for a couple of weeks and see how I get on.Mortgage April 2023/101000Very April 2023 / 1890More to come0

You've made a great start dreambug and you've all got rid of a couple. Some people can pay 2k off a month, but just remember we all have the sane destination. Some journeys just take a bit longer, I know mine certainly is at the minute. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230

So Ive fell short already on my target, but decided to rethink my strategy, My very balance has came down over £300, and managed to avoid the £65 in interest from BNPL, need to pay £100 before 25 May to avoid another which is fab, there will be more paid in small segments, I decided to start my xmas fund and a savings. This is where I go in debt every year so if I have approx 400 saved up all year That's basically it paid for without it hindering my debt paying. Ive being doing the round up pot with Monzo and ive accumulated £16.56 without even noticing so I'm all these little pennies definitely add up, Havent changed any other totals yet as DDs don't come off til the 20th. Hoping another 100 from very before the end of the month and another 20 to savings. In June will look to clearing the OD as that's money wasted very month.Mortgage April 2023/101000Very April 2023 / 1890More to come0

Its been a while since I posted, a few changes have happened. Managed to get a perm job instead of temping so my wages went from weekly to monthly which have taken me off my stride a little. My biggest achievement is my very since March have cleared off over 1000 pound!!! Delighted to say the least. Will clear the rest on pay day. Figures at the Beginning (march time) to now :
L/M - 300/0
NPower - 500/0
SAS- £380/200
Vodafone - £265/99 (DD phone broke still paying contract til Oct no insurance)
Over Draft-£550/510
Very- £1200/108
Next -£2200 (approx. will check)
Hitachi-£8500/7757
Shawbrook -£6424 will need to check
Very will be at zero at the end of the month and Vodafone will drop off in October will start focusing my energy on Next, seems a mammoth task taking on the bigger ones, feels like climbing uphill, but on the brighter note my sealed Christmas fund is nearly at 100 should have enough before xmas to buy DD her chromebook without stressing.
Been thinking off Xmas a lot recently, got over 60 in M0rrissons food stamps, DD main pressie will be paid for so will be ( I buy for my dd and my now partner buys for my ds) (kids dad) that's how we always have did things and works out fantastic., so it only leaves bits and bobs and small pressies to buy.
How does everyone else manage Xmas on a tight budget?
Will update shortly
