in 2013 i tried to trace my pensions through the pension tracing service team. one of the pension details came back to me as being a company lex service voluntary scheme p0412 at an address in high wycombe. i wrote to this address but my letter was returned as addressee gone away. now 6 years later i am due to visit a pension adviser and was just wondering if there is any way i can trace this company to see what this pension is about. many thanks for any advice.

Were you ever in the motor trade or related services as Lex Service PLC is now, through mergers etc, RAC.

no i have never been in the motor trade.
  • Might be worth ringing Aviva - they bought the RAC, which is what Lex Service became, & may still know about the pensions.
I'm not sure if they still own them but they do offer RAC breakdown cover with their car insurance for cheaper than the actual RAC do (but slightly inferior cover).
