Employer not contributing

We've just learned that my partners employer hasn't been making the required contributions to her pension. They're now under investigation but she's been told not to worry. Any ideas as to what is likely to happen and should she really not worry?

All she can do is wait and see. The most likely thing to happen will be that the employer will make contributions into her pension pot. Out of interest, is it just employer contribution that is missing or both the employer and employee contributions?0

Probably the employer has not fully understood new pension legislation properly , or was trying to avoid their responsibilities .
In any case I guess they will have no choice but to backdate all payments owed.0 -

It’s only the employer contributions that are missing.JoeCrystal wrote: »Out of interest, is it just employer contribution that is missing or both the employer and employee contributions?0
