Savings Account in a dmp

Hi all

I currently have a savings account, current account and ISA with smile. I am also currently in a dmp with payplan.

Thing is, I'd like to open a separate savings account to put a little away each month (for car tax, annual bills, christmas etc) but somewhere that I can't constantly see it when I log into my current account (like I can at the mo with smile) because the temptation is too great to just 'dip' into it to pay for other things.

Thing is, do they credit check you if you want to open a savings account? Also, the money wouldn't be staying there for any length of time, just so its out of the way until its needed.

Has anyone else applied for a savings account in a dmp and got one? And if so, where's the best place to apply to.

Thanks
