I don't know if this is the right place to ask.
I'm working on improving my credit file and when I checked today I noticed that a payday lender (yes, I know and I don't use them anymore!) whose loan I paid off over 2 years ago has done a search on my credit file.
Can I ask for the right to be forgotten under GDPR now that I'm all paid up and no longer have any dealings with them?

You can ask the lender to forget you, to which they may agree - but not the CRAs.
However, any soft searches will not be seen by others.0 -
