No. It costs financial firms nothing, Resolver is a commercial tool which earns MSE money as they sell the data people put in on an aggregated basis to third parties

Just making a complaint costs the companies. They have to employ staff in their complaints department. Whether it arrives via email, post or telephone doesnt change the costs. The fact it has arrived generates the cost.

Not sure why you are so obsessed with making business incur costs - ultimately they are only passed back down to you as a consumer.

It's not. It's an email tool that takes your message, slows it down a bit, then sends it on to the other party.

It's a little slower and less reliable than doing it yourself, but on the plus side, it lets MSE harvest your data.

    Its not.
All resolver does is capture data and emails it to providers.

Whilst it helps with some people, sometimes the data doesnt arrive at the other end in a readable form and can hinder the process.

It is just what it is. A commercial tool that makes money for MSE and its other owners.

I am not OBSESSED with making business incur costs - I am just trying to get Sky to pay for mistreating my financially - they are trying to increase my charges - despite my being on a fixed price contract and are now totally blanking me !!

Resolver has no power to enforce your complaint. It's simply an E-Mail template. It has no legal standing at all. Just make your complaint in writing to Sky.

You are asking inappropriately in the financial section of this website I'm afraid.

The Financial Ombudsman Service won't entertain a complaint referral about a disputed Sky bill I'm afraid...
