Yes it does, as long as you have an eligible spouse/partner at the time of your death. However, you can't give it up in order to enhance your own benefits.0 -

The fact its complicated doesn't alter whether you made money or not(which the vast majority did). Why do you think you're in the small minority that didnt?0 -
I have been helped on this page to realise I cannot pay extra to increase my pension and that despite the contracted out affect on my state pension ts still been a better decision.
