Advice on Moorcroft Text

Hi,
I received a text from Moorcroft with an id number. I checked it on their site and it comes back with invalid number/date of birth. Am I safe to ignore this? No letters have been received about any debt so far.
In fact as far as I am aware, I don't have any outstanding debt besides a student loan. I did have a credit card and overdraft problem a couple of years back, but cleared them both, closed down the credit card and dropped the overdraft limit to £100).
Any advice appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Block the number. You do not need to respond. The only correspondence that should concern you, would be written letters arriving via Royal Mail. Unless they contact you in writing, I would just continue to ignore.
Edit: lol... sourcrates beat me to it!I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
