Aviva Pension - setting up up without IFA

Hello,

So its year end for me and i'm kind of rushing around trying to use my allowance as I've left it a bit late !:eek:

Would anyone recommend setting up the Aviva pension online, without an IFA ? I just want to use the money this FY before its too late and maybe move it elsewhere later.

Any pro's or con's to doing it ?

It's very simple to set up a new pension yourself, either with Aviva or many other pension providers. The main decision is which actual funds to invest in .
In fact I was looking at their website today and you will get a choice for picking the funds . Very simple one - just define the risk level , right through to a large choice of funds.
Probably not the very cheapest for charges but a household name and 100% FSCS covered .

I'm in the same boat, the yearly contribution has to be in by end of March so need somewhere to stick it.

was looking at NEST, NUTMEG, HL Managed SIPP, AVIVA, so much choice!

Aviva or Pensionbee looks straight forward but i've only got til mid March to do mine. Hoping there is enough time !

IFAs only talk to people with plenty of money so they can have some of it. If you're only just starting one have you got enough to interest them?
