Need help deciding which bottles!

After my toffee vodka success I've found some bottles I like :j I need 12 in total (lots of boozy friends!!)

Only problem is I am in indecision ..... which of these do you prefer?!

Price-wise they are virtually the same ... ebay ones are £22 for 12 and other ones are £21.85 for 12 (both incl delivery)

I just cannot decide!! Sad but true.... Please help me

  • Personally I prefer the 2nd ones (square based bottles), also would be easier to store together.

as someone who actually got the square ones.. lol.. i have to echo about being easier to store together, i put mine in the fridge, and they fit really nicely in there.

I'm decorating mine with blackboard paint and chalk to make a label like these. they would look really good if you were giving a selection of different ones or a hamper with chutneys/jams etc.,

Alternatively make a label which you can then tie round the neck with string or something?

Thanks to you all you're great!! :T
    Square ones it is.

Keth - where are you getting your blackboard paint?! I have some jam labels which I am going to use for home-made jam and marmalade. Was going to use these on the vodka but maybe the blackboard paint would look better.

I'm planning on giving them in a home-made hamper containing:

    1 bottle toffee vodka
    1 bottle jelly baby vodka
    Shortbread
    Home made fudge
    Jam
    Marmalade
...and maybe chutney if i get brave and find an easy recipe!

Poppy - i got blackboard paint from Wilkos. it cost £3-4 for a small tin. It needs some practice though, painting it on, i warn you! Use masking tape to isolate an area.

re: chutney - delia's christmas chutney is a nice one and quite easy from what i remember (2 years ago).

Thanks :D I might stick with my labels then...not sure if i'm brave enough to risk wrecking the bottles!! Or like you say tie a label on. I have some nice luggage type labels I got from Ikea.

Thanks for the chutney recipe - I actually have Delia's christmas book! but never been brave enough to make chutney before for some weird reason (as I love to cook)
